Ofuda appears mostly under the shape of a page of printed paper which, thanks to the central presence of an image or sometimes simply an inscription, embodies a being worshipped in the Buddhism or, more rarely, in the Shintoism. This one, distributed to the believers, is quite at the same time support of private worship and talisman meaning the active presence of the divinity.

For this exceptional exhibition, the national Museum of Asiatic Art of Corfu lent to the Maison de la Culture of Japan in Paris more than 150 prints of its Collection Manos. These works, which had never been presented in France, are more signed eight great masters of ukiyo-e: Harunobu, Kiyonaga, Utamaro, Sharaku, Hokusai, Toyokuni, Hiroshige and Kuniyoshi.

Dances, singings, performing art: an anthology of the traditional culture of Okinawa. With the cooperation of the national Treasury living Choichi Terukina, Grand Master of the lute in 3 ropes sanshin.
From the XVth century, the kingdom of Ryûkyû, current department of Okinawa, maintained important commercial links with several Asian countries due to its privileged geographical situation. In the crossroads of Japan, China and South-East Asia, the archipelago developed an original culture, a fruit of multiple influences. The kumio-dori is a symbolic example. Based on the dances and the musics of Okinawa, this musical theater integrates elements come from Japan and from China. Having been indicated very cultural immaterial important by the Japanese government, i) was registered in 2010 on the List of the immaterial cultural heritage of the humanity of Unesco.
A kumio-dori will be presented after dances and traditional singings interpreted by near about ten artists.

Established in 1315, Daitoku-ji is one of the most prestigious monasteries of Japan for its spiritual and cultural inheritance. Several great men assured its fame such the poet Ikkyû Sôjun and tea master Sen no Rikyû. Its link with the Guimet museum is former and strengthened on the occasion of the construction in 2001 of the detached house of tea in the garden of the galleries of the Buddhist Pantheon.
The coming in Paris of monks' delegation of the Daitoku-ji of Kyôto is an event organized to the Guimet museum . As such, the institution celebrates the links which unite it with it prestigious monastery of Japan and suggests to the public discovering one of the most surprising aspects of the tradition of the rinzai Zen: kôan.
Play of questions-answers between master and his followers, this koân or surprising judgments were often noticed by their even funny disconcerting aspect. Through the various activities accompanying this event, it will be a question of discovering several aspects of the Buddhism Zen.

For the first time in Europe, the Musée du quai Branly presents the exceptional collection of samurai armour from The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, Dallas. The exhibition aims to show the public the culture, lifestyle and art of the samurai warrior in Japanese society over almost nine centuries through various types of objects, including full suits of armour, helmets, and full horse armor, used for both battle and ceremonial parades.

Situated in the department of Okayama, Bizen is, in Japan, one of six historic centres of production of ceramic ovens of which are always in service. Its history has more thousand years. This exhibition presents some former potteries of Bizen of Muromachi and Momoyama periods (XIVth- XVIth century), and ceramic of Fujiwara Bizen were created by three ceramists' generations of the region.
Born in 1899, Kei Fujiwara is the first representative of the lineage of the Fujiwara Bizen potters. He lived at first on his feather to Tôkyô, writing serialized novels for newspapers, collections of poems … But at the age of 40, he returned to his home town and dashed into the creation of ceramic of Bizen. His free and audacious style is the reflection of the soul of this artist who replaced his pencil by the earth. His son, , brought more dynamism and establishes the characteristic style of ceramic of Fujiwara Bizen: simple, clear, direct. Father and son were indicated alive national Treasuries. Son of , Kazu Fujiwara assures splendidly raises it by creating works printed by balance.

At night of the New Year. The ship Aurore is sinking into the ocean further to an immense storm. Jofre, the unique survivor, manages to establish a radio contact with the maritime first-aid post. Of guard this evening, Ester will hold him company the time when Roger, the pilot of helicopter, succeeds in helping him.
By radio, makes a commitment then an exchange at the same time funny and tragic where collide the fears and the hopes of these three characters. As the fiction moves forward, the limits of the reality fade to give rise to a dreamlike space, where every character is confronted with its most primary frights.
 
Ferran JOANMIQUEL PLA, been born in Catalonia in 1975, did training courses of dance, play and theatrical writing in particular in Sala Beckett. Interested in a political conception of the theatre, he led with his company Kilalia of the projects of “theatre forum” with groups of women and teenagers. Ferran JOANMIQUEL PLA wrote this day about ten plays and received numerous howards. His poetic-dramatic writing of a big formal wealth can call back the styles of Lorca or Koltès.
He is also a follower of Aikido within the ARZ of Girona (Sp).

The Pierre Bergé - Yves-Saint-Laurent foundation dedicates his 17th exhibition to the costumes of the Japanese theater Kabuki stemming from the collection Shôchiku Costume. They will be accompanied with accessories, prints, photos and documentary movies, and will present this theatrical art born in Japan in the XVIIth century. It is about the first exhibition completely dedicated to Kabuki which will take place in Paris (France).

The Masamune team has the honor to welcome Feodor TAMARSKY for a short-lived exhibition.

Feodor TAMARSKY was born in Moscow in 1954, taken out of the Faculty of realization and Direction of the College “Studio” of the Academic Theater of Arts of Moscow in 1979. Committee member of the Graphic designers of the city of Moscow. The works of the artist are in collections deprived of part the world, in collections of the museums of State of Novgorod and from Pskov to Russia and to the Military museum Vaudois in Switzerland.

Feodor TAMARSKY is also a passionate follower, a 4th dan, diploma of Federal Instructor, Japanese Sobudo Rengokai Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha's member (Japan), professor of Karate sane. Responsible for Sobukai Haute-Savoie (France) and for Sobukai Genève (Switzerland). Teaching of iaido and jukempo of Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha. Member of the Office and College of the Experts of International Fund for the Conservation of the Martial arts ( FIPAM). Member of committee of passage of ranks of Takeda Budo.
